Concept Attainment Model

Concept Attainment is an indirect instructional strategy that uses a structured inquiry process.  In concept attainment, students figure out the attributes of a group or category that has already been formed by the teacher.

Inductive Thinking Model Lesson Plan

Inductive thinking is an easy statergy with higher thinking order.Inductive learning takes the traditional sequence of a lesson and reverses things. Instead of saying, “Here is the knowledge; now go practice it,” inductive learning says, “Here are some objects, some data, some artifacts, some experiences…what knowledge can we gain from them?”

So as a part of Internship we had to write a lesson in inductive thinking method and execute it in the respective classroom.

Laboratory Arrangement (Part II)

Science Laboratory arrangement was a part of Internship Program. It was an individual activity where in all the specimens were cleaned and placed in respective order. Also , each specimen was labelled with its scientific name and common name.

Cooperative Learning Lesson plans

Cooperative learning is a successfull teaching statergy in which small teams of students of different ability use variety of learning activities to understand a concept.I carried out cooperative learning activity for the students of Std VI on topic Components of food. The different stratergies used were round robbin , Number Heads , Fan and Pick,QuizQuiz Trade, Three minute review and Plenary -What I have learnt?

Science Exhibition (Part II )

I conducted a Science exhibition for the students of Std .VII during my one month internship in St.Anthony's High School, Majorda. Different science charts , models ,specimens were kept for display for the students to observe and learn.

Science Exhibition (Part I)

A Science exhibition was kept for the students of Std V-X . Different science models ,charts , wallpapers ,specimens,instruments ,science equipments, science teaching aids , assignments were displayed for the students to observe and learn. 

No Tobacco Posters

Live and let live ....be a non smoker

No tobacco posters were made by the students of Holy Rosary Convent to spread awareness on the grievous effects of tobacco that can have on ones health .
